Brazil nuts grow on trees in the Amazon rainforest, where most of the nuts are wild-harvested. The nuts vary in size, but we prefer the smaller nuts for their crispiness and fresh, earthy, almost BBQ-like flavour. Not only are they delicious, but also extremely nutritious. In fact, Brazil nuts are the food source with the highest known level of the powerful antioxidant selenium - you can get your daily dose from only 1-3 nuts! They also contain plenty of protein, fibre, essential minerals, and polyunsaturated fats. Besides being great for nut milk and nut cheeses, they pair perfectly with chocolate or can be enjoyed as is.
