Cape gooseberries, also known as golden berries or Inca berries, boast a surprisingly delicious, exotic, sweet and sour taste. Considered a superfood, these chewy, preservative-free berries are packed with nature’s nutrients in the form of immune-boosting vitamins and anti-inflammatory antioxidants. Like most sour-tasting fruits, they are an excellent source of vitamin C. When dried, their flavour intensifies, which makes them incredible to cook with.
