Our certified organic rolled oats are a pantry staple - not only are they delicious and one of the healthiest grains you can get, but they're easy to prepare as well. This gluten-free whole grain is a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants. Plus, it's higher in protein and fibre than other grains, and its high levels of prebiotics make it great for general gut health. When cooked, it becomes a creamy porridge that keeps you full and gives you long-lasting energy throughout the day. Its mild, nutty flavour makes it the ideal versatile base for overnight oats - add nuts, nut butter, chia or flax seeds, and/or natural sweeteners like raw honey, dried fruit or dates for an extra healthy boost.

WHAT ARE WHOLE GRAINS?
Whole grains contain the entire kernel of the grain: the endosperm, germ and the bran. The endosperm is the largest portion of the grain and contains complex carbohydrates and protein to provide energy. The germ nourishes the grain and is packed with antioxidants and vitamins. It is also a source of heart-healthy unsaturated fats. The bran is the outer shell that provides a rich source of fibre, trace minerals, phytochemicals and vitamins. Each part contributes important nutrients to the whole grain, and together they offer the most nutritional benefits. This is in contrast to refined grains, which have been processed to contain only the endosperm.

WHAT ARE PREBIOTICS?
Prebiotics are non-digestible food ingredients, mainly fibre or complex carbs, that serve as fuel for beneficial intestinal microorganisms, collectively known as the gut microbiota, gut flora or microbiome. These beneficial microorganisms strengthen your immune system overall.

IS IT GLUTEN-FREE?
While oats are naturally gluten-free, some batches may have been harvested and processed with the same equipment as grains that contain gluten. If you have celiac disease, rather choose oats that have been certified as gluten-free.
