WHAT’S THE WHITE STUFF?
Fruit sugar may crystallise on the surface of dried figs, giving them a natural sugar coating with a deliciously sweet taste. This is a completely natural process and the figs are perfectly safe to consume.
TO REHYDRATE
• To rehydrate for baking, simply soak in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes.
• Drain well before use.
