While there are numerous species of walnut, the one we chose to include in our range is the English walnut (also known as the Persian walnut or Juglans Regia). It's the most popular variety, and ours are freshly harvested and locally grown. Like all nuts, walnuts contain healthy fats but are the only tree nut that is an excellent source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), the essential plant-based omega-3 fatty acid. They also contain biotin, manganese and vitamins B6 and E. Not only are they exceptionally nutritious, but their crunchy texture and buttery, earthy taste also make them perfect for cakes, granolas, trail mixes and more!
