HOW TO MAKE DATE PASTE:
• Cover dates with very hot (but not boiling) water and soak for 1-2 hours, or even overnight.
• Drain the dates, but keep the soaking water.
• Add the dates and ½ of the soaking liquid into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
• Scrape down the sides of the blender to make sure it is blended well.
• Add more water until the desired consistency is reached.
• Transfer the paste into a clean storage container.
• Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
